The brief

A smart-security and alarm manufacturer wanted to add doorbell-style video features to their connected hardware range. We designed and optimised the AWS architecture that delivers that video from device to app.

The solution used MQTT for lightweight device communication and a serverless AWS back end for scale and cost efficiency. We also worked hands-on with the client’s embedded and mobile teams, providing C/C++ integration support and example code to get video flowing across the hardware, cloud and app layers.
